BNF Technology Inc., a leading company in design and development of the Plant Computer System for Nuclear Power Plants was founded in November 2000 and is the first spin-off company from Korea Power Engineering Company, Inc. (KOPEC). The engineers working with the company have rich experience in design and development of Plant Computer System for Nuclear Industry with Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) and KOPEC.
The company has also jointly developed the Plant Monitoring System (PMS) for Korea Standard Nuclear Power Plants, Plant Monitoring and Annunciator System (PMAS) for Shin Kori Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Units 1,2 and Plant Computer System for Kori NPP Unit 1 with KOPEC.
The company expanded its business from Nuclear Industry to Bio-Plants and Information Technology. In the near future the company is expected to grow as a Total Solution Provider in the areas of Nuclear Power Plants, Bio-Plants etc.
